Perched on a cliff overlooking the source of the world's longest river, this is probably the most spectacular camp in the dark continent. This is start point for rafting trips on the legendary river and the home for bungee jumping on the Nile.

Pitch a tent from as little as $5 per night, relax in the bunks in our dormitories or treat yourself to a little more comfort in our nicely appointed safari tents. The camp boasts a nicely tiled ablution area, hot showers and a well-stocked bar within roaring distance of the rapids on the Nile. The Riverbase restaurant and bar is perched atop a cliff over 30 metres above the river so don't drop your glass! Enjoy a cold Nile Special in the bar while watching the incredible water touches from the bungee tower.

Great value meals are served daily at the camp or you are free to use our BBQs to cook your own meals.

The Adrift Riverbase boasts a swimming pool courtesy of Jinja Nile Resort, which is only 5 minutes walk from the camp. Camp residents can make use of the beautiful pool for a token amount ($US6 per day) or treat themselves to a buffet meal at the hotel.
